Hi I'm Coco!

...but my friends call me Colene. Coco came from my youth when my 2-year-old brother couldn't say Colene and it has stuck with me. Most of the little kids in my family have called me Coco.

I found a love for photography as a youth. My stepfather went to school for photography, and although he was not in the business, he had a great Nikon camera and allowed me to use it. This was my stepping stone into learning to create via the camera. Fast forward another decade to when I was married. I wanted a nice camera, so I asked my husband to get one for Christmas. I was tired of point and shoot cameras and wanted a camera that I could tell it what to do instead of it telling me what I could do. I wanted to be in control so I could create in a more real way. Leap ahead 12 years to my first photography course and my first big girl DSLR Nikon in 2011. That is when the magic happened. I learned how to take my camera off auto and really dig into aperture, ISO, speed, and white balance, and I fully fell in love with bokeh!! I also joined a local camera club to continue my education while I raised three kids with my husband. Then in 2016 I started Coco Hoffer Photography. I specialize in seniors because I want each and every senior who comes before my camera to know they are an amazing creation and deeply cared about. I want them to go away feeling like a million bucks and ready to take on the world! But I don't stop with senior sessions. I also enjoy photographing families, engagements, and maternity sessions too!

I've been married to my husband for over 25 years, and we have three grown children. Outside of photography I enjoy spending time with my family and going out with friends. Additionally, I love watching sports, traveling, and I can smoke a mean brisket.

Let's partner together and create a gallery that you will cherish for decades to come. Amazing things are headed your way. Let's do this together!

It was a pleasure!

"We had the pleasure of working with Cocco Hoffer Photography for my daughter, Isabella’s, senior pictures. Without question, it was a great experience, start to finish. From the moment we booked the appointment, she took an interest in getting to know Isabella. Her likes, interests what kind of scenery she liked, etc.
When the day arrived, she was extremely patient and took the time to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the location and setting of the photos. 1/2..."
